I design and make Creation Stoles as an alternative to traditional stoles of silk or brocade. My stoles are generally cotton and work well in outdoor or contemporary settings. Each stole is unique in showing various parts of the created world: outer space, sky, mountains, trees, water, plants, animals, rocks. In some cases, I use batik fabrics printed with designs from nature. The pictures shown here are representative of what I make. Fabric styles change rapidly and I generally cannot obtain similar fabric once I have used my supply. If you have a special theme or design in mind, I will be happy to work with you to see your vision come into being. And, if you have your heart set on something more traditional, I will work with you on that also. Many times, lay persons purchase my stoles as gifts for clergy. I also make diagonal deacon stoles.
